Septic service in Tierrasanta, CA.

Tierrasanta septic service is essentially not a real category because the master-planned community built decades ago on former Naval reservation land was constructed with full municipal sewer infrastructure from day one. The entire community, original Tierrasanta along Santo Road, the Aleda Road area, the Antigua Boulevard zones, is on city sewer through the City of San Diego Metropolitan Wastewater Department. If you have a backup or drainage issue at a Tierrasanta address, it is almost always a sewer line problem rather than a septic system problem.

For the overwhelming majority of Tierrasanta property owners experiencing backups or slow drains, the right call is a sewer-and-drain plumber. The most common Tierrasanta backup causes are root intrusion in aging sewer laterals (very common with the mature landscaping that defines the community), tree root invasion in sewer lines on the original streets, and slow drains from accumulated buildup. The geographic isolation as the "Island in the Hills" with only four access roads does not change the sewer infrastructure picture, the sewer mains are in and have been since the original master-plan build.

The answer is essentially always sewer in this community, but the pros we send will confirm and point you to the right service rather than try to sell you septic work you do not need.

We do not handle residential sewer line work, hydro-jetting, or sewer line repair, those are different services that require different equipment and licensing than septic work. If your Tierrasanta issue turns out to be a sewer line problem, they will tell you so honestly and point you to a sewer-and-drain plumber rather than try to sell you a service the pros we send do not provide.
